Email Woes

Heads up to all my current and potential clients, as well as any vendors trying to reach me. I am NOT receiving all my email-- I've had two reports over a two week period, and it seems very sporadic, with some reaching me but not all.
Please, please call me at 910.494.6297 if I have not responded to an email from you. I am very punctual about responses, so if it's been more than 24 hours, you know I have not gotten your email.

I am working with my web hosts to see what they can do.
Thanks for your patience.

Katie+Jordan

I feel like I'm cheating...I'm not half done with my post process of this wedding, but just can't wait to share my favorites.

The amazing thing about this wedding was...everything! The skies were dramatically cloudy (a rare favorite of mine) the bride had a very chic Victorian old-European look to her, her groom was [obviously] in his uniform. The best part (and this is the part that sometimes makes me cry, you don't know because I'm behind a camera) was the obvious love amongst everyone there. The couple-- oh, they looked adoringly at eachother constantly. It was tangible. And the way Jordan's parents felt about Katie, what they publicly proclaimed in their toasts...let me say it was touching.

Pictures! Katie had this cool green everywhere!

even her bridesmaids...varying shades!

I LOVE her expressions. This is Katie's Mother..

My favorite portraits...

First spin on the dance floor!

My last view...And they're still there as far as I know. ;)

Congratulations to Katie and Jordan! Thank you so much...oh, and more pictures sometime next week.

Alyson+Todd

Alyson and Todd had this beautiful wedding in Arapahoe at the China Grove Plantation. My husband John worked with me, and we had a fabulous time with so many gorgeous details (and guests!). Rachel from Bridal-by-the-Sea did a great job coordinating this destination event.
Notice the heirloom brooch on the bouquet..

I love this shot of the bride touching up her makeup.

little bit of great light always helps.

Alyson and her father exchange meaning glance as they step out for the ceremony.

hey! That's my shadow! I was a part of all this too...

unusual view made possible by having a 2nd shooter do the typical shots.

yes, they kissed...but what an emotive hug!

I just LOVED that these two kids were standing together really paying attention to the dances!

I've left out great images from portraits...the cake cutting...the bride on the stage with the cowbell (did the band pay you the 5G's yet??). But I have to end somewhere...so I'll end with the first step you took-- alone-- your first evening:
