Favorite of 06

I had some really gorgeous, amazing weddings this year, and when I say it was hard to choose just one, my words are inadequate. For weeks I have had this idea in mind, to post just one image from each wedding. It's been so much harder of a challenge to pick just one image, which speaks to me personally.
I chose this image as my personal favorite because of the found detail of the newspaper, harolding "Moussaoui Gets Life". Such a stark contrast to the light and laughter of the wedding day.
I hope you love it too. I'm looking forward to what images the new year brings for us, and creating art for and with my clients.

I know what you mean -- those little "found details" can really make an image important and interesting. I did a shoot recently with three scraggly guys in a band on a horribly rainy Friday night. We were all soaked because it was an outside shoot under the lights of a theater. Later, when I was going through the pics, the coolest "found detail" was a flyer on the theater wall behind the three guys that said, "Goldilocks and the three slobs." It was so funny!
That dress looks familiar...=)
Theresa, your dress and YOU and your whole day was just one of my favorites of the year. :)
