Ericka and Daniel

On November 11th, I was up and over in the mountains, at a place called Leatherwood.

I'd never been there before, and I have to admit, snaking up the mountain and twisting and one way streets and steep hills up and down..I got lost on the way to the cabin where Ericka and her girls were gettin' ready.

No worries! I always plan to be early, which means I get there right on time. :) Ericka was super-relaxed. Can you tell by the picture?

And the ceremony was just country-charm. Fabulous! It was getting dark rapidly, as the sky will show...

Ericka's sister made the cake. She has just opened a cake-making business; isn't this amazing??!!

Daniel and Ericka had choreographed this great dance and practiced it beforehand. I was so impressed. One of my favorites.

Congratulations to you two, by all accounts a wonderful couple that truly compliment one another.

name change?

Oh what a headache have I.

It appears there's another Ever After photography studio in VA. Which isn't good for either of us. All you clients must be scratching your heads in confusion. So I'm thinking of changing the name.

I will keep you posted. Hey, any great ideas for a biz name with with Esomething Asomething?

Heather and Brad's album

Things are busy here! I frequently forget to post albums when they're done, so here's a treat:

I think my favorite spread from the book is...
which happens to be Heather's favorite, too. :) The quote on the back cover of the book has special meaning to her and Brad... I encourage everyone to find their own quote to put in their books, if any at all. It's really hard for me to find a quote that presents an insightful, honest view of your relationship. A good place to look for quotes is romantic poetry, the bible (song of Solomon is sexy!) and websites. I searched for romantic quotes and found this:

In other news, we are under a tornado watch. :( The kids are at school which is really freaking me out. I kind of feel like going to get them...it's so dark and windy outside and their school is from, like, the 1800s. Seriously.

I think I can feel the change in air pressure just sitting here. Or maybe I'm crazy. ;)

Fall Engagements
