Congratulations are in order for this super-sweet couple. John and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding last weekend...and while I'm still going through the hundreds of pictures and putting my special touch on them...here are my favs so far.

First of all, the shoes.

Coaxing the super-cute flowergirl down the aisle...and just some perfect light!

Rachel and Forrest had me doing a lot more 'formal' then I'm used to, but the reception was just perfect for this!

Gotta give good cake...

And I'd like to thank the TWO videographers for the lighting here.


And yes, they had a candybar. I did partake of the dark-chocolate covered espresso beans (yum) and the self-serve cappucino station (wish I could live there just about now!) See the slideshow!

Family Fair

So I just wanted to post because tomorrow John and I are shooting Rachel and Forrest's wedding...yay! I'm so excited. Weather is looking good, too....

I'm hoping for a brilliant blue sky like we had at the fair the other day...
Isn't this sweet?! I caught my kids being loving to eachother.

We all had wristbands...

Which made me feel ill. FYI, this is a self portrait with my son on a moving twirly thing...centrifical force made it darn hard to hold a camera out in front...


Just cool lighting...pop gun with lens flare.


My son took this one of his dad and sister... I think he's got natural talent. Hereditary, of course. :)


So...hope you all had fun at the fair, too. PS, even though it only comes once a year, I'm not so sure it's worth eating tons of junk and riding ride after ride after ride....

Michelle and Rob were just so sweet to eachother...AND they looked good in the nasty cold rain!!





I think I was the only one whining that day... Florida was never cold like this, let alone in October... and being an indoors girl, I didn't plan real well... I forgot a jacket and wore sandles.

See, I'm still whining.
Can't wait to see you at your wedding!

hot pink and beachy!

I was so happy to finally photograph Joann and Jim's wedding! From what I understand, they have been together for years and years (what was the hold up again? college?) and lucky me! I got chosen to document the day.

The rings! I used a special close up attachment for this shot.

I love the light coming through the dress, it just glows!

Feisty bride! Joann and her Mom were two of the most gorgeous women I've met in a while.

The bridesmaids had the cutest dresses... they were pinstriped, as was Jim's suit...

Joann's flowers were a gorgeous creation of pinks.

Pulled out the funky fisheye for a few...

While everyone danced the night away, a private moment between the newlyweds. Aren't they sweet?!!
