From our recent vacation:
Don't know why I'm posting family stuff, but I hope you enjoy it. :)

I am a cow whisperer.
Weird dog portrait.
I was diggin the ray of light.

John and I just celebrated an anniversary-- 7 years. Pictures of me are pretty rare, as I'm always behind the lens, but we stuck one of the cameras on auto and let a complete strange take this for us:

Mr. Stranger said the picture could be purchased online for only $7 for a 4x6. Generous, eh?

Aren't they cute?

Rachel has amazing eyes!

Newspaper people rejoice...

Pretty pretty!

Thanks you two-- I'm looking forward to the October wedding!
It was so incredibly hot that day. We had spent an hour just talking business and getting comfortable before we started shooting-- in about 90degree weather! Then we walked and walked trying to find some nice spots with the torturous lighting. I was a wreck by the end of the shoot, but these two kept their cool.

Last weekends wedding! Just getting to editing, but I'm excited about this dip shot! Gorgeous couple, many more pics soon.

I'm working on getting some small changes to my site. I'll also be added some new images from this year. Hooray! An update!

I put the kids in day camp-- they have been just too bored with Mom working on the pc all the time. And you know what, they are happy happy happy. Today, they are bowling. It's all good!

And now if I could just quit messing around and do everyone else's albums...

I'm Boar-ed

A never-before-seen view of myself at my most piggish. Screaming "I want to shoot a wedding!" at the top of my lungs. The kids are out for the summer, and being a most fabulous mother, I haven't taken but one wedding each month.

What was I thinking, again? Now we're all bored AND together. And the only thing for me to do is work on albums, send prints to lab, answer emails/phone calls/etc, etc, and look through old pictures for something funny to post here.

So I took a commercial gig, just to kill time.

This is called a green screen. The client requested I shoot several people on a green screen, somehow making it easier to pluck them off said screen and paste them on a better one. My only goal, show up, shoot for an hour, hand over images, get paid.

But I'm boarish, so I played a bit, too.

This gives you an idea how easy it is-- took all of three minutes.

Next weekend: my best friend visits with her kiddos (yay! playmates) and I have a new wedding to shoot! 'bout time! :)
